You may register online or through paper entry. Only participants who register before 9/5/21 will receive a free race shirt. Shirts MAY NOT BE available after this date.

15% off for group or family of 5+ (1 participant must be 18 or over)
Participants will be able to pick up their race packet the day before the race on Friday 9/24/21 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Otherwise you will receive your race packet the day of the race when you check-in. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your race start time. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. No refunds will be given for any reason.

5K RUN or WALK PARTICIPANTS ONLY:
The start line for the road race is at the Corbett Community Hall in Corbett, NY. Please see a map of the course by clicking HERE. Buses will be used to transport participants to the start line from the registration and parking area at the American Legion Post 167. Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled bus departure time to arrive at the start line in time. There will be a shuttle at 8:30am for 5K walker participants and at 9:00am for 5K runner participants. We cannot guarantee you will make the start of the race if you miss the shuttle. The course will be officially timed. Runners will follow appropriate 5K signs to complete their race. The 5K will finish on Bridge Street near the Covered Bridge. Police, safety cones and signs will be alerting motorists to the race area. Color powder areas are located every 0.5 miles along the 5K portion of the course.
The color powder shows up best on both white and dark colored clothing. We do recommend not wearing anything you don't mind being stained as we've had mixed results getting it completely out of clothing. Don't worry, we are health freaks and the colors used are non-toxic and washable.
Strollers are welcome. Children in strollers are FREE and do not need to register for the race. Large strollers will not fit on the bus and need to be dropped off at the start line at the Corbett Community Hall before you head to the Legion to park and register for the race. Please ask if you need help with this.
Young children not registered for the race must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs are allowed! All dogs must pay a $5 entry fee which will be donated to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society. All animals need to be current on their vaccinations and owners are responsible for their dog at all times. Please do not bring a dog to race who has not walked or ran 3 miles easily in the past. Water stations and waste disposal will be present for dogs. Dogs are not allowed on the bus and you must arrange your own transport to the start line in Corbett. Awards will be given in the categories below:
5K Walk: Top 2 walkers (male or female)
5K Run: 1st/2nd men (13 and over), 1st/2nd women (13 and over), 1st/2nd boys (12 and under), 1st/2nd girls (12 and under)
The awards ceremony is set to take place at 11:00 AM or as soon as all the results are in.
There will be an official timer for the race. Results will be posted online on this website and social media platforms at www.secondwindtiming.com.
Bathrooms will be available at the parking site, starting line and at the finish.
